Rezoning Procedures

Applications for rezonings and Special Use Permits are accepted and processed as follows:

Each month, a limit of 14 rezoning applications (and related Special Use Permit cases), six (6) Change in Conditions cases, eight (8) Special Use Permits (unrelated to a rezoning case), and six (6) Special Use Permits for CSO subdivision development may be accepted.

  • A mixed-use overlay project may be placed on any available agenda subject to BOC approval.

  • Rezonings, Special Use Permit (SUP) and Change in Conditions (CIC) requests will be placed on the first available agenda.

  • There is no limit to the number of Buffer Reduction (BRD) cases per month and BRD cases will be placed on the first available agenda.

  • There is no limit to the number of Moved-in-House (MIH) cases per month and MIH cases will be placed on the first available agenda.
