Use the link Download to view a document, view an image file, listen to a sound file, or go to an external URL. To use the link Download, be sure to install the appropriate plug-ins, and configure the browser MIME types, for the file types that you want to download. Then, when you click the link, a browser window opens and automatically displays the document or image, plays the sound file, or displays the site specified by the URL.

The example that appears here shows the External URL for an advertisement content item

To reference:

• An external document, include the complete URL, including the http:// identifier.

• An internal document in the document root directory, begin the filename with a slash (/).

• An internal document uploaded with Publishing Center, enter the filename only.
