Basics of Landscape Design ● May 1
Noon to 1:00pm. Come learn about the basics principles of landscape design that can help create an attractive home landscape. Gwinnett County Cooperative Extension Conference Room. World Turtle Day ● May 26
11:00am to 4:00pm. Did you know that the United States has more native turtle species than anywhere else on Earth? Join us in celebrating World Turtle Day to learn more interesting facts about one of our favorite reptiles. See live turtles from around the world and your own backyard, participate in turtle crafts, stories, and other fun activities.

Kids' Fishing Derby! ● May 12 ● FREE!
10:00am - noon. Enjoy the sport of fishing while trying to catch Big Herman, the pond's 30-pound catfish who is still on the loose! Children through age 15 will be able to fish without a license this day, so plan on bringing your poles and we'll supply the bait and prizes. Competition ends at 11:45am. Winners will be announced at noon. Parents must be present to sign a waiver in order for children to participate. No need to register, but if you wish to volunteer, contact the community center at 770.985.4713.

Rock-in and Rhythm Concert ● May 17 ● Free!                                                  
6:00pm to 7:30pm. Enjoy a cool evening of live music and light refreshments on our back porch. Refreshments are served at 6:00pm and the music begins at 6:30pm. Presented in partnership with Delmar Gardens of Gwinnett. PrimeTimers Point at George Pierce Park, 55 Buford Highway in Suwanee. Pre-registration encouraged. Call 770.831.4173.
