Lawrenceville Senior Center
The Lawrenceville Senior Center is full of friendly seniors, fun, and cheer. The center is a safe and fun gathering place for adults aged 60 and older and consists of planned activities such as exercising, arts and crafts, games and interesting day trips to various locations. Attendees are served hot, balanced lunches during the weekdays. The center also hosts various guests who perform and entertain or speak about medical, financial and consumer issues important to seniors. All activities take place in a group setting allowing the seniors to form friendships with others. There are no individual membership fees but some special classes and trips have small costs. Limited transportation is available. All regular attendees must be a center client to participate. Center field trip to Washington Farms strawberry patch and lunch at Journey's End. Please bring money and a container for the strawberries you pick.  Cost at the strawberry patch is $10 per gallon. Cost: $12 (includes bus and lunch)

May 18 – Friday:
Three center picnic at Pinckneyville Park. Music with Herman Mitchell. Please be sure to sign up. Transportation cost: $2.

May 22 – Tuesday:
Arthritis Talk with Dr. Glenn Parris and Chuck Abbot from Humera

May 24 – Thursday:
Music with Frank Allen. After Hours Pool and Cards Night at Buford Senior Center

May 25 – Friday:
Health education with Jacky Lackey from Eastside Medical Center
