Assistance

Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
Applications taken Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm beginning November 3 for senior citizens and the disabled. Beginning December 1, applications will be accepted from the general public until funds are exhausted for households who meet the 60 percent median income guidelines. Applicants will be seen by appointment only, so call Partnership for Community Action at 404.537.4300 to learn income eligibility and to make your appointment.


Clubs

Clicks and Sticks Knitting Guild

Lend a Helping Hand to Your Community!
Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Summer months are diffi cult for families. To support the community, the Centerville Community Center is collecting canned goods to benefi t the Southeast Gwinnett Cooperative Ministry. Please consider donating canned or boxed food items like rice, pasta, soup, dried beans, fruit, vegetables, and certain condiments. Call the center for a full list of needed items.


Health and Safety

Hatha Yoga • Mondays or Thursdays
Mondays: October 20 to December 15 (no class November 24) from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Thursdays: October 23 to December 18 (no class November 27) from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Cost: $24 for each eight-week session. Class emphasizes fitness, flexibility, balance, mind-body awareness, proper breathing and relaxation.
