One of our number one goals is to enhance the quality of Gwinnett County Parks through the creation of safe and secure environments for all park users. To accomplish this, we encourage active partnerships with park users and community organizations. From public input gathered through Citizen Service Requests to regular park safety inspections and monthly reviews of all safety-related incidents, GCPR is committed to providing a safe experience for everyone.
In addition, we've launched a SPLOST-funded program to add to patron safety. Help Locator signs are being installed throughout various parks. Each sign has a unique indentification number. That number and the corresponding location is available to Emergency 911 operators.
In case of an injury or other emergency, call 911. If possible, give the operator the closest HELP LOCATOR number. This number will help emergency personnel find your location in the park.
