Park Watch
The goal of Park Watch program is to enhance the quality of community life in Gwinnett County through the establishment of an active partnership between park users and Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation, including:
  • relying upon park patrons to be the eyes and ears in their local parks.
  • training citizens on recognizing suspicious activities or safety concerns and how to report them.
  • providing information on personal awareness and safety tips.

The program addresses safety awareness in parks including skate areas, dog park areas, trails and overall park patron safety. Active involvement by citizens in the observation, caring, and protection of your parks serves to deter and reduce crime; thereby enhancing the safety in County parks.
