The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners adopted the Open Space and Greenways Master Plan on May 21, 2002. The plan is a long-term guide for increasing recreational opportunities, protecting and improving water quality, building a system of greenway trails, and reducing the environmental impact of development in Gwinnett County. Because of their size, some of the graphics and maps in the Open Space and Greenways Master Plan are not available on this Web site. A complete version of the plan is available for viewing at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center (in the Department of Parks & Recreation) and at all Gwinnett County libraries.
