The Business Services Division provides a variety of services to both internal and external customers. The division is comprised of three operating sections and oversees the preparation and management of the department's annual budget and the SPLOST Capital Improvement Program.
Logistics is composed of both warehouse and apparatus management. Personnel in this section are responsible for specifications for department apparatus, routine and emergency repairs of the self-contained breathing apparatus, and for warehousing of goods and providing services for all stations and offices.
Finance focuses on making decisions involving the department's budget, including the allocation of resources, collection of fees for EMS transport, and the processing of orders, and payment to vendors. In addition, Finance oversees facilities maintenance for all 35 fire department facilities, including the construction of new stations as well as major and minor building repairs.
