Infrastructure/Operations Support

The Department of Information Technology Services Infrastructure & Operations Support Division provides services in the areas of Desktop Support, Data Center Operations, Server Administration, Network Support, Telecommunications and Information Security. The staff supports over 3600 personal computers, 1000 printers, approximately 600 Microsoft Servers, 110 physical network locations and over 5500 telephony devices throughout the County. We are dedicated to providing technologies for an efficient, secure and innovative client environment.

  • Telecommunications - Telephony additions, changes and moves
  • Server Administration - User security, monitoring, patch and antivirus management
  • Network Support - Network and SAN, wireless, Internet, remote VPN and Intrusion Prevention
  • Operations - 7X24 provision of a stable environment, monitoring production and test systems
  • Security - Prevention of intellectual property compromise, process review and best practices
  • Technical Services - Countywide information systems backup and recovery
  • Desktop Support - Computer hardware and software installation, application support
  • Help Desk - 7X24 problem ticket recording, resolution tracking and reporting
