Vicious Attack/Robbery Investigation

(Peachtree Corners, Georgia) On July 6, 2015, at approximately 11:50PM, Gwinnett County Police Officers responded to Valencia Park Apartments in Peachtree Corners, Georgia (Gwinnett County) in reference to a robbery and assault. The victim met with an acquaintance later identified as Candice Reynolds (23yo) at the complex and was subsequently attacked from behind by an unknown male. The victim was severely beaten, and was bound with rope. The suspects took several items from the victim including his wallet, money, car keys, and his royal blue 2001 Chevrolet Suburban after he was assaulted.

A neighbor told officers that he saw Reynolds with a black male who had a tattoo of a cross on his neck a few hours before the incident. Kenneth Starks (25yo) matched the description of the male who Reynolds was with prior to the incident.

The victim was able to confirm Reynolds identity via a photographic lineup, but he was unable to get a good look at the male suspect. Reynolds was captured on video surveillance using the victim's stolen credit card at a gas station on Pleasant Hill Road the morning after the robbery.

Reynolds has active arrest warrants for Robbery out of Gwinnett County and FTC fraud charges are forthcoming. Starks is wanted out of Crisp County for probation violation.  Displayed is a photograph of Candice Reynolds. For a photograph of Kenneth Starks, contact the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Department.
