CJIS Governance
The Gwinnett County Criminal Justice Information System Community of Interest (CJIS COI) was formed to address the special information technology needs of the justice environment of the County. The CJIS COI Charter was adopted by the COI and approved by the Information Technology Executive Council (ITEC) in September 2003.

As with all County COIs, this COI Charter provides a scope of operations and the general boundaries for the group that includes the planning and monitoring of cross-departmental services and interfaces.
