In an effort to make Police records more readily available to the public, the Gwinnett County Police Department Records Unit will be reopening at three of our police precincts.

Beginning Monday, July 1, Records Unit staff will be available in the lobbies of the West Precinct, South Precinct, and Central Precinct. Up until now, members of the community could only retrieve police records in person at Police Headquarters on Hi Hope Road in Lawrenceville or online.

Visitors may obtain copies of police reports, accident reports, and criminal histories. People can also start the application process for record restrictions.

Records Unit staff will be available Monday through Friday from 8:00am to noon and 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the three locations.

Plans are in place to open North Precinct and East Precinct in the near future. The Bay Creek Precinct, which is currently under construction, will likely offer the same services.

As usual, records requests are available at GCPD Headquarters located at 770 Hi Hope Road in Lawrenceville. Requestors may file an Open Records Request by using the Open Records Request Form.

The West Precinct is located at 6160 Crescent Drive in Norcross, the South Precinct is at 2180 Stone Drive in Lilburn, and the Central Precinct is at 3125 Satellite Boulevard in Duluth.
