Recycle items during America Recycles Day

Clean out clutter in a sustainable way! Join Gwinnett Solid Waste Management and Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful to celebrate America Recycles Day on Saturday, November 8 from 9:00am to noon at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds in Lawrenceville.
Residents are invited to drop off electronics, paint, clothing, sneakers, tires, and paper shredding.
Recycling electronics is free except for TVs, monitors, and printers. There is a $35 cash fee per projection or console TV, a $15 cash fee per TV or computer monitor, and a $5 cash fee per printer.
Paper shredding will also be available and is limited to five copier paper boxes.
Tires are accepted without rims and are limited to eight tires. Dealer tires will not be accepted.
Oil and latex paint will be accepted and are limited to 10 gallons per vehicle, with no rusted cans being accepted. Latex paint cans must contain 25% wet paint to be accepted.
Residents must remain in their vehicles at all times. Items should be placed in disposable containers in the trunk or back seat of your vehicle to be removed by volunteers.

Volunteers are needed for this event. Attire: Clothes you do not mind getting dirty, close-toed shoes, and dress according to the weather. Please bring a reusable water bottle. Volunteers must be 16 years or older.
The Gwinnett County Fairgrounds are located at 2405 Sugarloaf Parkway in Lawrenceville. The only entrance to this event is the light on Sugarloaf Parkway.
