(Lawrenceville, Ga., March 11, 2021) – The Gwinnett Department of Transportation will shift traffic on Spalding Drive Tuesday as part of the widening project that extends from Winters Chapel Road to State Route 140/Holcomb Bridge Road.

(Lawrenceville, Ga., June 3, 2021) – The Board of Commissioners on Tuesday approved a contract to install a roundabout at the intersection of Sardis Church Road and West Rock Quarry Road near the future Seckinger High School on Sardis Church Road.

(Lawrenceville, Ga., July 20, 2021) – Tuesday the Gwinnett Board of Commissioners voted to hold unincorporated Gwinnett’s property tax rate for 2021 at 14.71 mills, the same rate as 2020.

(Lawrenceville, Ga., Nov. 10, 2021) – The Gwinnett Board of Commissioners earlier this month approved rapid response construction of turn lane extensions at three locations. The contract approved Nov. 5 includes extending the northbound left turn lane on Sugarloaf Parkway at State Route 120/ Duluth Highway, the westbound left turn lane on Old Norcross Road at U.S. 29/ State Route 8/ Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, and the westbound left turn lane on Old Norcross Road at Cruse Road.

(Lawrenceville, Ga., Jan. 11, 2022) – The Board of Commissioners approved a construction contract for three transportation improvement projects in western Gwinnett earlier last week.Commissioners awarded the projects along Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, SR 140/Holcomb Bridge and Pond Road to Sol Construction, LLC, in an amount not to exceed $835,148.

(Lawrenceville, Ga., June 1, 2022) --- Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources has partnered with Gwinnett/Walton Habitat for Humanity to provide bill pay, plumbing and septic repair assistance to Gwinnett residents through the Water Resources Assistance Program.
