Gwinnett earns top marks from ratings agencies again

The highest possible ratings allow the County to borrow money and refinance bonds at favorable interest rates, saving taxpayers millions of dollars in future interest payments.

Input requested for proposed new interchange on I-85 at McGinnis Ferry Road

Gwinnett awards contract for improvements on Pleasant Hill Road
Posted: Sep 10, 2020The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners on September 1 awarded a construction contract to widen Pleasant Hill Road from the Chattahoochee River to Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. This project, which includes a boardwalk and multi-use path, was awarded to Summit Construction Development, LLC, the lowest of four responsive bidders.

Commissioners agree to purchase Lawrenceville Water Distribution System

Gwinnett partners with state for knowledge community along State Route 316

Board sets 2020 millage rates
Posted: Aug 07, 2020The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday adopted 2020 millage rates to fund county services. The rate for Maintenance and Operations for the General Fund was lowered to 6.95 mills, down from 7.209 mills in 2019. Required notices for the millage rate adoption were published in the county’s legal organ Sunday, August 9.

Commissioners approve Dacula Park field upgrade
