Missing/Runaway Juvenile Found Alive ***UPDATE-February 25, 2011***

(Wednesday, February 24, 2011 @ approximately 6:30 pm est.)

Investigators with the Gwinnett County Police Special Victims Unit learned that Pricilla began to call her Uncle, Joey Thompson's cell phone from a blocked number. Investigators met with Mr. Thompson and learned that Pricilla stated that she was in a building with many people and they wouldn't let her leave.

An exigent circumstances request was made to the phone company and they provided the incoming telephone numbers to Mr. Thompson's phone.  With Mr. Thompson's permission, investigators took possession of the phone. Around 5:30 pm, Pricilla began to call Mr. Thompson's phone and spoke with the investigators and indicated that she didn't want to go home and claimed she was at a Kroger in Atlanta. She never indicated that she was in any sort of fear or danger and claimed she was fine.

As the investigators spoke with Pricilla on the phone they were able to get the number she was calling from. The phone was traced to an intersection in Las Vegas, Nevada. As the investigators continued to speak with her on the phone, they contacted the Las Vegas Police Department and notified them of her location. LVPD responded to that location and found Pricilla and took her into custody. Pricilla is now safe and unhurt. Pricilla informed LVPD that she caught a bus to Las Vegas and had been there for one or two days. LVPD placed her into the care of Child Services.

This case remains active while investigators continue to investigate whether or not anyone helped facilitate her trip to Las Vegas or any other criminal activity existed.
