Retiree Badges Available

If you are interested in obtaining a retiree badge, walk in to the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center, 75 Langley Drive in Lawrenceville Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 10:00am and 3:00pm to 4:00pm. The retiree badge will be for identification purposes only and will not grant access to any County facility, building, or parking deck.

Join us for the monthly Caregiver Support Group

A caregiver is anyone who feels responsible for another person’s welfare (financial, emotional, and supportive) because of illness, frailty, life changes, and/or losses. If you care for your relative, spouse, or loved one, join us for our monthly support group meetings from a caregiver, join us for our monthly support group meetings from noon to 1:00pm in GJAC second floor, Support Services Conference Room.

Retiree Bereavement Notices

We regretfully announce the recent deaths of the following retirees:

Lisa Carson, who passed away Saturday, September 9. Lisa served the County for more than 28 years in the Department of Corrections before she retired in 2015. Lisa is survived by her mother, Cynnie Carson; five sisters, Carol (Otis) Brown, Abigail Fellove, Melanie Williams, Deidra (Greg) Stephens, and Ramona Long; five brothers, Tim Brown, Michael (Alicia) Carson, Clarke Shaw, Ronald Carson, and Scott Strickland; and a host of relatives, former coworkers, and friends. Her family will receive friends Friday, September 15 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel & Gardens, located at 3481 Hamilton Mill Road in Buford. Her memorial service will take place Saturday, September 16 at 11:00am at Victory World Church Hamilton Mill, located at 3015 Pucketts Mill Road in Buford. Beverly Ferguson, who passed away on Sunday, August 13. Beverly served the County for 23 years in the Recorder’s Court before she retired in 2014. Funeral services will not be held. Condolences may be expressed at https://www.wagesandsons.com/obit/beverly-ann-ferguson/#comments
