February 2018: A Time for Transit

For the month of February, Gwinnett County Transit and our partners will be engaging with the community to present all things TRANSIT, such as incentives for switching over to bus rides, answers to questions about routes, schedules, and the Connect Gwinnett: Transit Plan, and learning how to ride the bus (travel training)!

  • Celebrate Black History Month and the Gwinnett Bicentennial with GMAC, Gwinnett County Community Outreach, and GCT. Visit the Black History Exhibit on February 1 and the Black History Month Proclamation and Reception on February 27. Click here for more details.
  • February 8from 11:00am to 1:00pm: A Time for Transit Event at the Southeastern Railway Museum

March 2018: Wheels in the Wind

In March, GCT and our collaborators will guide you through the benefits of BIKING, such as GA Commute Options’ incentives provided for making the bike a part of your commute, demonstrating how to load your bike on the Gwinnett County Transit bus’s bike rack, and more!

  • March 17 from 10:00am to 1:00pm: Wheels in the Wind Bike Ride at Best Friend Park and Thrasher Park

April 2018: Moving Millennials
Gwinnett County Transit will be partnering with institutions in the area to connect with students and provide them with beneficial information on transportation alternatives, including transit, carpooling, vanpooling, and much more!

  • April 12 from 11:00am to 2:00pm: Moving Millennials Event at Georgia Gwinnett College
  • April 14 from 10:00am to 2:00pm: Gwinnett 200 Multicultural Festival at Shorty Howell Park (Click here for more details)
