The Gwinnett County 2030 Unified Plan was recently recognized by the National Association of County Planners and the County Planning Division of APA for excellence in county planning and plan implementation. Submittals were reviewed by a panel of members from the National Association of County Planners and the County Planning Division of APA and evaluated according to the following criteria: Originality, Transferability, Quality, Implementation, and Comprehensiveness. The Unified Plan ranked high in all categories. The award was presented at the APA 2010 National Conference recently held in New Orleans.
