Adopt a shelter pet this October

You’ve been talking about getting a dog or a cat for a while now, and since October is national Adopt a Shelter Pet Month, the Gwinnett Animal Welfare and Enforcement Center is reducing adoption fees to just $20 for dogs and cats throughout the month.

Some of these sweet animals were displaced from Glynn County by Hurricane Irma and are looking for a forever home.

The adoption fees include vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter. You can see these adorably cute, unconditionally loving, and non-judging furry friends on the Animal Welfare Center's available pets webpage or on the Animal Welfare Center's Facebook page, where you can also learn details on upcoming events, and discover helpful tips on how to care for your shelter pet.
