The Gwinnett County Tax Assessors office will be conducting onsite property field visits throughout the county in the coming months.

Field visits, a routine part of the County's property assessment process, will be performed by a county appraiser or a contracted appraiser from the companies of LMC or CLT. Gwinnett County vehicles will be clearly marked with emblems, and personnel will have picture ID's and business cards.

During field visits, appraisers verify existing or new construction data, obtain exterior measurements, and take photos of the property. Residential property field visits are exterior only inspections, which do not require entry into buildings or assistance by the resident.

If you are not at home, the review will be conducted and an informational door hanger will be left for you. In some instances, inspections of commercial property may require some assistance, depending on the nature of the business.
