Firefighters responded at 10:11 a.m., to a report of a business fire at LIGHTCRAFT LIGHTING, located in the 1000 block of Industrial Court, NW in Suwanee. 

Crews arrived to find heavy smoke showing from a single-story (mixed use) office/warehouse structure.  Firefighters encountered a working fire in a business suite in the center of the building.  Crews quickly deployed attack hose lines and readied the aerial ladder to combat the blaze and protect exposures.  The blaze caused heavy damage to the LIGHTCRAFT business suite and extensive water and smoke damage in adjoining businesses.  A Bobcat from DWR was requested to assist with separating debris inside the warehouse to conduct overhaul and complete extinguishment of hotspots.  Per the Incident Commander, there was heavy content loading due to lighting fixtures being tested inside the warehouse.  The exact cause of the fire is currently undetermined and is under investigation by the fire department.  One employee was at the business when the fire erupted.  He was in the office area and was alerted by the smell of smoke.  There were no injuries reported.
