The following is a brief synopsis of storm related incidents handled by fire and emergency services personnel on Monday, April 3, 2017.  I will continue to keep you posted form the Gwinnett Fire-PIO Office.  There are no other incidents to report.

TREE DOWN:

-          Firefighters are currently on the scene of a tree down in the yard of a residence in the 2075 block of Veracruz Drive, SW in (unincorporated) Snellville.  The tree also fell across a vehicle at the location.  There are no injuries reported.

WIRES DOWN:

-          Area of Hewatt Road, SW at Rivermist Drive in Snellville

-          2075 block of Veracruz Drive, SW in Snellville

There have been several reports of wires down, but no major incidents or damage top report as a result of the weather.  Several of the wires down were cable or phone lines and not actual live electrical wires.  The appropriate utility company was contacted to make repairs or restore power where needed.
