$4,000 of Gift Cards Stolen from Home Depot

(Norcross, Georgia) Gwinnett County Police are searching for four men who stole more than $4,000 dollars of activated prepaid gift cards from the Home Depot located at 4136 Jimmy Carter Blvd in Norcross. The incident was reported by a cashier January 15th shortly before 5 p.m. The cashier initially reported a robbery. However, he has since admitted to helping his friends steal the gift cards. He was arrested for False Report of a Crime and Theft by Taking January 24th. Police have since learned that the gift cards were used to obtain cash at several Publix grocery stores in DeKalb County.
