Forgery Suspect Fraudulently Obtains $9,400 - Suspect Identified, Warrant Obtained

Update #1, 02/20/2018: After the original Media Release was published last week, tipsters recognized the photos and called in their tips.  The suspect has been identified as Joel Alphonse Roach (age 26, Conyers).  The detective secured one warrant for Forgery 3rd Degree against Roach.  His whereabouts are currently unknown.

Original, 02/15/2018: (Norcross, Georgia)  The GCPD Electronic and Financial Crimes Unit needs the public’s help in identifying a man who committed an act of forgery.  On January 13, a black male wearing a blue hoodie and a black vest walked into the Wells Fargo Bank at 1625 Indian Trail Road in unincorporated Norcross. 

The suspect used a forged check to fraudulently obtain $9,400.
