Gwinnett Police Citizens Police Academy

(Lawrenceville, Georgia) Have you ever wondered how the police department is organized and operated?  Have you ever wanted to tour police headquarters?  Have you ever wondered what each unit in the police department actually does?  Well, you might be interested in joining the Gwinnett Police Citizens Police Academy.  We are currently accepting applications for our upcoming session.  The next academy will run from March 20th – May 10th.  The academy meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.  The Citizens Police Academy is open to all Gwinnett County residents that are 18 years of age or older, who successfully pass the application process and a driver’s and criminal history check.  You will get classroom and practical applications, but also get to meet a great group of your fellow citizens.  Even better, it’s all FREE!  Applications will need to be submitted to Sgt.
