Home Invasion - Sanibel Drive

(Stone Mountain, Georgia)  The Gwinnett County Police Department is currently investigating a home invasion that occurred on Sanibel Drive, in unincorporated Stone Mountain.  Officers were dispatched to a person stabbed call on February 27, 2018 shortly before 4:30am.  When officers arrived, they made contact with the homeowner and three wounded males.  The officers acted quickly to render aid to the victims. 

Officers searched the residence and noticed the outside basement door had been forced open.  The basement rooms had been ransacked.  A bloody knife was located in the basement along with a .40 caliber round, a cash box, and a plastic pill bottle. 

The homeowner stated he was asleep when he heard the victims banging on the basement door.  When he opened the door he saw that the victims were bloody and one of them had flexi cuffs around his neck and wrists.  Crime Scene Investigators and Detectives responded to process the scene.  Various drugs and paraphernalia were located in the home.  The victims said there were three suspects and they were wearing masks.
