Man Fakes Sickness to Rob Local Businesses

(Snellville & Norcross, Georgia)  The Gwinnett County Police Department Robbery Unit needs the public’s help in identifying a suspect who has robbed two cell phone stores. In both cases, the suspect enters the business with a napkin or cloth over his nose and mouth.  He tells the employees that he is sick as a reason for the covering.  Shortly thereafter, he displays a handgun in his waistband and demands the cash from the business. 

The first incident occurred at a cell phone store located at 4002 Stone Mountain Highway in unincorporated Snellville on February 22.  The second incident occurred at a cell phone store located at 5345 Jimmy Carter Boulevard in unincorporated Norcross on February 28. 

The suspect is described as a black male, 5-11 to 6-02, 140-180 lbs., 18-27 years old, with a deep voice and yellowing eyes.
