Metro Area Theft Ring Extends to North Carolina

(Dacula, Duluth, and Lawrenceville, Georgia) Gwinnett Police Detectives need the public’s help in identifying three individuals that are linked to an elaborate theft ring that ranges from the metro Atlanta area up to North Carolina.  These thefts have occurred at least from December 2017 – February 2018.  The suspects above are part of a group of thieves that break into vehicles at local parks that have purses and wallets left visible.  The thieves will smash windows to gain entry and steal credit cards, debit cards, and cash.  The thieves will then immediately go to the nearest Kroger shopping center and purchase gift cards, usually in the amount of $500, until the stolen card(s) are declined.  The thieves use the self-checkout and typically add one small item to the purchase to make it less noticeable.  These thieves have been seen on surveillance footage in multiple areas including North Carolina.
