Plane Crash - Old Fountain Road (911 Audio)

Update #1, 11/25/2015: The Gwinnett County Police Department received four 911 calls in reference to yesterday’s plane crash.  The FAA and NTSB have authorized the release of the 911 audio.  Please see the Dropbox link below.

Original, 11/24/2015: (Lawrenceville, Georgia)  At 3:18pm, the Gwinnett County Police Department 911 Center received a call from someone who said that a small plane was seen crashing on Old Fountain Road near Amhearst Mill Lane in unincorporated Lawrenceville. 

When the officers arrived, they found the pilot (male, mid-20s, Duluth) who was suffering from minor injuries. 

The passenger (male, teen, Johns Creek) was semi-conscious. 

Both the occupants were transported to the Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville with non-life threatening injuries. 

No one was injured on the ground.

One home was possibly grazed by the aircraft as it was nearing the ground.  There is no structural damage to any homes.  The plane came to a final rest on the opposite side of a backyard fence along Old Fountain Road. 

The NTSB and FAA have been notified about the incident and are currently on their way to the scene.
