Suspects Wearing Medical Scrubs Rob Local Grocery Store

(Peachtree Corners, Georgia)  The Gwinnett County Police Department Robbery Unit needs the public’s help in identifying 4 robbery suspects.  On Thursday, January 11, at around 8pm, one male and three females approached a cashier inside a grocery store at 5025 Winters Chapel Road in Peachtree Corners.  The suspects were all dressed in medical-type scrubs.

As the cashier was scanning items, the suspects tried distracting her.  The suspects asked for 3 Visa gift cards.  The cashier was asked to load $500 onto each card.  As soon as the cards became activated (and before payment could be obtained), the male suspect reached over the counter and grabbed the cards from her hand.  All four suspects ran towards the exit.

The cashier attempted to run after the suspects and get the stolen gift cards back.  A female suspect in pink scrubs pulled out a can of pepper spray and threatened to spray her.

All four suspects were seen fleeing the parking lot in a light-colored passenger car.
