Thieves Use Stolen Credit Card to Buy Gas After Breaking into Four Vehicles within One Hour Causing Over $900 in Damage and Stealing Over $1000 in Property and Cash

(Duluth, Georgia) Gwinnett Police detectives need the public’s help in identifying two suspects that used a stolen credit card to buy gas after they had previously broken into four vehicles.  On May 24 the two suspects illegally entered four vehicles in the unincorporated Duluth and unincorporated Norcross area.  Shortly after the thefts the suspects went to a gas station in unincorporated Duluth and put gas in their two vehicles.  Suspect 1 pulls up to the pump in a dark colored Toyota passenger car and pumps gas using the stolen credit card.  He then lays the pump on the ground and drives away.  A few moments later the Toyota is seen again near the gas pump.  There is now a dark colored Volkswagen following him.  The Volkswagen pulls up to the same pump where Suspect 1 had laid the pump on the ground and Suspect 2 gets out and pumps gas into his vehicle.  The vehicles then leave the area together.

Suspect 1 is described as a black or Hispanic male wearing all black with a hoodie.  Suspect 2 is described as a black male wearing a gray hoodie, skinny khaki pants, white Nike shoes, and has twists in his hair.
