Original, 09/23/2015: (Snellville, Georgia)  On Sunday, September 20, at around 6:30pm, officers assigned to the South Precinct were dispatched to a Person Shot call at the Quik Trip located at 3490 Centerville Highway in unincorporated Snellville.

The driver of a white Dodge Journey backed into a parking space and approached a silver passenger car.  After approaching the driver’s side of the vehicle, the suspect then walked to the passenger side and began to have a conversation with the occupant in the front passenger seat.

A passenger of the white Dodge exits the vehicle (holding a handgun in his waistband) and walks along the sidewalk away from the driver.

While the suspect is talking with the passenger of the silver car, the driver of the silver car drives forward at an accelerated speed.  The suspect (at the passenger side window) pulls out a handgun from his pocket and begins to fire in the direction of the silver car.  The passenger of the white Dodge (who originally walked away), then runs back toward the Dodge and also opens fire on the silver car as it was fleeing the parking lot.

Several witnesses were in the parking lot and sought cover when the shooting began.

Both suspects are seen chasing after the victim’s vehicle as it exits the parking lot.

Someone from inside the white Dodge then drives toward an alternate exit.  The two shooting suspects then enter the Dodge, and the occupants leave the parking lot going north on Centerville Highway.

Several shell casings were recovered from the parking lot and placed into evidence.

Suspect #1:

Race / Sex:             Black / Male

Age:                       Possibly 18-24 years old

Clothing:                 black shirt, black shorts

Suspect #2:

Race / Sex:             Black / Male

Age:                       Possibly 18-24 years old

There may have been two additional suspects inside the white Dodge when the incident took place.  Descriptions of these suspects are unknown at this time.

Shortly after the shooting took place, an innocent bystander pumping gas noticed that he had been shot in the foot.  His injuries were non-life threatening, and he was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center for treatment.

The white Dodge Journey has since been recovered.
