UPDATE: Missing Woman, Ceaulovone Milner - Remains Found

Update #1, 05/31/2016: On Sunday, May 29, shortly before 4pm, the Gwinnett County 911 Center received a phone call from a man in Lilburn.  The caller told the Communications Officer that he was fishing on the Yellow River with his children when he noticed a human skull just below the surface of the water.

After taking his children home, he met with the responding officers to show them the location.  The skull was found in the area of Riverside Drive and Lake Lucerne Road in unincorporated Lilburn.

The skull was taken by the Medical Examiner’s Office.  Using dental records, it was determined that the remains belonged to Ceaulovone Milner.  Her manner of death is currently unknown.  Milner’s family has been notified of the discovery of her remains.  Though this is a tragic outcome, we hope that the family can grieve her loss and begin the healing process.

This case is still active and the lead investigator is still seeking any information about Milner’s disappearance and death.  Please contact the Gwinnett County Police Department Criminal Investigations Section at 770 513-5300.  To remain anonymous, tipsters should contact Crime Stoppers at 404 577-TIPS (8477) or visit www.crimestoppersatlanta.org.  Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.  Case Numbers: 16-029508, 16-049203
