UPDATE #1: Homicide - Hunters Club Lane

UPDATE (Lawrenceville, Georgia) The deceased victim in this case has been identified as Michael White (B/M, 23 years old).  White was a resident at the apartment complex where the murder occurred.  Two other people were shot during this incident, Jabril Adams (B/M, 19 years old) and Carlos Tabb (B/M, 25 years old).

Detectives have determined this case likely a drug deal turned into a robbery.  Detectives believe that Tabb was meeting with White and Adams to purchase marijuana.  All three subjects met outside the 600 building on Hunters Club Lane.  Detectives believe Adams and White attempted to rob Tabb, who produced a handgun.  White and Adams also produced handguns and gunfire was exchanged.  White was struck and killed.

Adams was also shot and was transported to a local hospital.  He is charged with armed robbery and felony murder and will be transported to the Gwinnett County Detention Center upon his release from the hospital.
