Suspect Sought in Entering Auto Theft and Credit Card Fraud

(Peachtree Corners, Georgia)  On Tuesday, May 19, a victim called the Gwinnett County Police Department to report that her vehicle was broken into overnight and someone had used her debit card without her permission.  The victim said that her vehicle was parked at her home on Poplar Spring Court when the theft occurred.  Her wallet was stolen from inside her vehicle between 10pm on May 18 and 1:15am on May 19.      

Shortly after the theft, the victim noticed several unauthorized transactions on her debit card.  The first transaction took place at the QT (QuikTrip) located at 3229 Peachtree Corners Circle at 1:27am.  The lead investigator in this case received surveillance footage of the suspect.  (Surveillance footage is available at GCPD HQ.)  The surveillance footage shows a female using the victim’s card and then leaving in a vehicle.

  • Sex:                Female
  • Height:           Unknown, but may be short
  • Weight:          Unknown
  • Race:              Light skin black, white, or Hispanic
  • Clothing:        Black hooded zip-up sweatshirt, black pants, and black flip-flops

Suspect Vehicle Description:                               

  • Make:             BMW
  • Style:              4-door, sunroof
  • Color:             silver

Additional fraudulent transactions were made at the McDonalds on Jimmy Carter Boulevard and the CVS Pharmacy on Peachtree Parkway.
