(Lawrenceville, Ga., May 11, 2018) – The Gwinnett County Office of Economic Development and Gwinnett officials celebrated the opening of Stanley Stephens Co. with a ribbon cutting today. The commercial flooring distributor opened a new location at 1770 Corporate Drive in unincorporated Gwinnett.

Stanley Stevens is new to Gwinnett, but the family-owned business has been in operation for more than 40 years, with eight distribution centers along the eastern seaboard. 

“We chose Gwinnett County because it’s central to the bulk of our customers,” said Patrick Whaley, regional sales manager for Stanley Stephens Co. “While we’ve been in the metro Atlanta area for four years, we are expanding our operations in Gwinnett because of its prime location, which gives our company an opportunity to grow and expand in this area.”

“I’m grateful they chose to locate here and look forward to watching the company’s future success and the impact on our local economy,” said District 2 Commissioner Lynette Howard. “I’m not surprised Stanley Stephens Co. recognized Gwinnett County is a great location to better serve their customers. Their new location near I-85 will help them deliver products more efficiently.”
