WHAT:  All Gwinnett County government offices, with the exception of those operations required for the comfort and safety of residents, will be closed Dec. 22 and 25 for the Christmas holiday. County offices will resume normal business hours on Dec. 26. The same offices will be closed Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day and resume operations Jan. 2. A Magistrate Court judge will be available at the Gwinnett County Detention Center during the holidays.

Monday, Dec. 25 and Monday, Jan. 1 are trash and recycling holidays in unincorporated Gwinnett County. Collections will be delayed by one day from Dec. 25 until Friday, Jan. 5. Normal service collections days will resume on Monday, Jan. 8. Residents can visit www.gcsolidwaste.com to find their hauler’s contact information. Residents who live within city limits should contact their trash and recycling provider to find out if collection will be delayed due to the holiday.

WHEN:  County offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 22 and Monday, Dec. 25, and will reopen during normal business hours on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017. Offices will also be closed Monday, Jan. 1 and reopen Tuesday, Jan. 2.
