Hazel McMullin was named Deputy Director of Human Resources in February 2007. She began her career with Gwinnett County in 1992 in the Department of Water Resources where she served two years as Deputy Director and 11 years as Director of the Administration division. She received certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) in 2000, holds a B.A. from Randolph Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, Virginia, and a Master of Public Administration degree from The University of Georgia. She has served on various compensation and benefits committees within Gwinnett County government and has managed personnel and human resources for previous employers Hoover Precision Products, Inc., and Noramco, Inc., a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, Inc.
