Have you ever wondered how the police department is organized and operated? Have you ever wanted to tour police headquarters? Have you ever wondered what each unit in the police department actually does? 

If so, you might be interested in joining the Gwinnett Police Citizens Police Academy. Applications are now being accepted for the upcoming session, which will run from March 20 to May 10.

The free academy meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. The Citizens Police Academy is open to all Gwinnett County residents 18 years of age or older who successfully pass the application process and a driver’s and criminal history check. Learn classroom and practical applications, and meet a great group of fellow residents.
