(Lawrenceville, Georgia)  The Gwinnett County Police Department Homicide Unit is currently investigating a homicide on Herrington Woods Court in unincorporated Lawrenceville.

Shortly before 6am, officers responded to the location after a neighbor reported there was a domestic disturbance. Upon arriving, officers located a deceased woman in the doorway of her home. There were other occupants inside of the residence; however, no one else was harmed during this incident.

Detectives have a lead on the suspect’s identity, yet he is not in custody at this time.
