UPDATE #2: Man Arrested in Apartment Complex Burglary

Update #2, 09/20/2019: Jaime Gonzalez-Vega (age 27) was arrested and booked in to the Gwinnett County Jail on Wednesday, September 18.  He was transferred from the DeKalb County Jail.  He had one warrant for Burglary 2nd Degree.

Update #1, 09/03/2019: The lead detective identified the suspect in this case as Jaime Gonzalez-Vega (age 27).  There is one active warrant for his arrest for Burglary 2nd Degree.  Jaime’s whereabouts are currently unknown.  The golf cart has not yet been recovered.

Original, 08/09/2019: (Norcross, Georgia)  A man is seen on surveillance camera making an unusual movement as he burglarizes a local business. 

On Thursday, August 1, a suspect forced entry into the maintenance shed of an apartment complex on Seasons Parkway in unincorporated Norcross.  While inside the shed, he stole a key making machine and a golf cart, among other items.  While rummaging through the shed, the suspect displays what appears to be repetitive, involuntary movements with his right hand similar to fanning his face.

The golf cart is still unaccounted for.  It has “Las Palmas” scripted in pink on the body. 

The suspect is a Hispanic male in his 20s to 30s with a thin build and black hair.  He is wearing a black Nike jacket during the crime.
