Missing Person – Henry Walker (age 72) *special needs

(Lawrenceville, Georgia)  The Gwinnett County Police Department Central Precinct needs help locating a missing elderly special needs man who wandered off yesterday evening. On Wednesday, August 21, at around 7:45 PM, patrol officers were dispatched to a home on Omie Way in unincorporated Lawrenceville in reference to a missing person.  The caller told the 911 Center that her special needs brother had gone missing.  Henry Walker (age 72, Lawrenceville) was on the porch of his home at around 7 PM while his sister was inside.  After about 30 minutes, the sister realized that he was no longer on the porch. 

The sister drove around the area looking for Henry, but he could not be found. 

Description:   white male, age 72, 5-07, 170 lbs., blue eyes, brown and grey hair, large nose, hunch in his back

Henry was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt, khaki shorts, and dark sneakers.  He enjoys construction sites.  He has the mental capacity of a 7 year old.  He may have his wallet with him.  Inside his wallet is his identification card and the contact information for family members.  He doesn’t have a cell phone. 

Several officers searched the area for Henry to no avail.  More searches are planned for today.
