October Homicide Investigation - Midnight Blu Cafe Additional Arrest & Additional Persons Sought

Update #4, 12/27/2017: Based on information learned in this criminal investigation, the lead detective secured an Aggravated Assault warrant against Kyese Jahair Patrick (age 21, Norcross).  Patrick was taken into custody on December 26, and transported to the Gwinnett County Jail.  

Based on surveillance footage obtained by the detective, it is believed that two additional people could be involved in this criminal event.  We are seeking to identify the man and woman in the provided images.  If anyone can identify either of these two individuals, please contact GCPD detectives at 770-513-5300.  To remain anonymous, tipsters should contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or visit www.crimestoppersatlanta.org.  You can also text your tip to “Crimes” (274637).  Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.  Case #17-091334.

Update #3, 11/01/2017:
Last night Gwinnett County Police arrested Oshay Howard 20, of Norcross in relation to the Midnight Blu Café homicide. Warrants have been obtained for Aggravated Assault, Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Possession of Firearm during Commission of a Felony. The homicide investigation is ongoing.


Update #2, 10/04/2017:
Homicide detectives have arrested Christopher Parker 42, of Lithonia in relation to the homicide that occurred Sunday. Warrants have been obtained for the following: Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Detectives are still seeking additional suspects and anticipate more arrests. We are asking anyone at the location that night to come forward with information about what they saw. Tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers or directly to the Gwinnett County Police Department.


Update #1, 10/02/2017:
The victim has been identified as Domiquo Riley, 19 of Snellville. Next of kin has been notified. Detectives are still working to determine a motive for the shooting. Original, 10/01/2017:
(Norcross, Georgia) Gwinnett County Police are investigating the shooting death of a 19 year old male who died at a Shell gas station in Norcross. The incident began as a person shot call shortly before 1 a.m. at Midnight Blu Café  located at 5050 Jimmy Carter Blvd in Norcross. The first victim was a female who was shot in the leg. She was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Several minutes later police received a person shot call at Shell gas station located at 5535 Jimmy Carter Blvd in Norcross. The male was deceased inside a vehicle with a single gunshot wound to the chest.

Detectives have learned that the victim was shot in the parking lot of Midnight Blu Café and driven to the Shell gas station. There were reportedly multiple shooters and multiple witnesses who fled the scene. Gwinnett County Police homicide detectives and the crime scene investigators responded to the scene. Detectives are speaking with potential witnesses and trying to determine the cause of the shooting.
