Suspect (Unknown if a Man or a Woman) Robs Local Bank
(Stone Mountain, Georgia) The Robbery Unit of the Gwinnett County Police Department needs the public’s help in identifying a bank robbery suspect.
On August 23, at around 2:15pm, a person wearing a black or dark blue Adidas sweatshirt, black pants, white tank top, black sunglasses and a blue hat entered a Wells Fargo Bank at 1815 Rockbridge Road in unincorporated Stone Mountain. The suspect approached a bank teller and handed him a note. The note essentially stated that he/she was off their medications and if the teller did not comply with the demands, the suspect would kill everyone inside. The note demanded cash.
The bank employee describes the suspect as a black male, but the lead detective assigned to the case feels that there is a possibility that the suspect could be a woman disguised as a man.
