UPDATE, July 17, 2018 – The victim has been identified as Dorothy Ann D’Anna (W/F, 63 years old) of Suwanee.  Her family has been notified.  Detectives are continuing to work the case as a suspicious death. 

ORIGINAL RELEASE, July 16, 2018 - Gwinnett Police officers responded to a residence on Collins Port Cove in unincorporated Suwanee today shortly before 1:00pm in reference to a report of a deceased person.  During the course of the preliminary investigation the death was determined to be suspicious in nature.  Detectives were called to the scene to investigate further.  The scene was secured and a search warrant was obtained.  Detectives and Crime Scene Unit personnel are currently investigating the scene.  The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification.  Updates will be provided as they are received.
