(Lawrenceville, Ga., Dec. 3, 2018) – Gwinnett water is safe for all uses, including drinking. The city of Atlanta mistakenly sent a boil water advisory phone call to some Gwinnett residents on Monday, Dec. 3. However, the boil water notice only affects city of Atlanta water customers; it does not affect Gwinnett County water customers.

Gwinnett County’s water system is not connected to the city of Atlanta system. Gwinnett County is not under a boil water advisory, and Gwinnett’s water is safe for all uses including drinking.
