Court-Ordered Community Service
The Department of Community Services offers opportunities for individuals who must complete court-ordered community service hours.
Call 678.277.0904 or email CourtOrderedCommunityService@GwinnettCounty.com for information about what charges are accepted, what documents are required to register, and/or to set up an appointment.
Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign a liability waiver. Translators are allowed to accompany non-English speakers.
Court-ordered community service hours are not available for any charges involving violence, threats, or physical exchange against people or animals.
Registration must take place IN PERSON at our offices located:

Closed for lunch noon – 1:00pm.
Registration appointments are encouraged.
ITEMS REQUIRED TO REGISTER
Valid Georgia Photo ID
- Driver’s license
- State photo ID card
- Driving permit
- Passport
Original Court Paperwork
- Ticket or court documents showing charges
Proof of Current Address
- Pay stub
- Vehicle registration
- Mail addressed to you
Reporting Agency
- Include contact name, fax number, email, and log sheet
$5.00 – Card or Cash (exact change only)
- If the reporting agency does not provide a log sheet, on can be provided for an additional $0.25
