In most cases, this office will direct you to the best source of the requested information. The Communications Division operates under the philosophy that the best source of County information is from the policy-making officials and the experts who run the various departments and offices. We also coordinate the publication of various documents, such as Gwinnett County Connection, a monthly newsletter about current County programs and events, and the GC Insider, the County government's weekly employee e-newsletter.
This office also produces other informative documents such as The State of the County, a summary of accomplishments for a given year.
In addition to writing and editing many of the County's printed publications, we also write proclamations, resolutions, and news releases and we have editorial responsibility for the content of this website. This office also coordinates special events such as groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings and commemorative ceremonies at the Fallen Heroes Memorial.
